for this i try to get out an immortal with hardened dragon's effect so the immortal can't be destroyed by any card effects once its out like that it usually wins the battle, but im trying to find faster ways to get hardened dragon to my hand

I'm guessing that your playing traditional format? Considering at least one of the cards in your deck list are currently banned.
